The functions of the Parliament are :

It helps in making budget .

It passes laws .

It keeps check on the Government .

It also performs certain judicial functions.

The Indian Parliament elects the members of the Rajya Sabha indirectly.

It also elects the President of India .

Hence this forms the central government.

The head of the Parliament is the Prime Minister of India as he is the leader of the majority party in the Parliament.

Indian Parliament has several functions like law making,electing judges ,choosing prime ministers etc. the Parliament of India has two houses Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha.
