the accused has a right to be informed about his or her crime
he cannot be accussed of the same crime twice at a time
the person has the right to consult his lawyers and prepare for his defense
the person has the right to be present before a magistrate or else he cannot be detained for more than 24 hours in the custody

THE FOLLOWING ARE FUNDAMENTALTHE RIGHTS OF THE ACCUSED:-

  1. THE PERSON NEEDS TO BE INFORMED ABOUT THE REASON FOR HIS/ HER ARREST AT THE TIME OF FOREST.
  2. THE ARRESTED PERSON SHOULD BE PRESENTED BEFORE THE COURT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ARREST.
  3. THE REGISTERED PERSON SHOULD NOT BE TORTURED BEATEN ARE SHOT BY THE POLICE.
  4. CONVENTIONS MADE BY THE NESTED PERSON IN THE CUSTODY SHOULD NOT BE USED AS EVIDENCE IN THE COURT.
  5. WOMEN AND CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 15 YEARS CANNOT BE CALLED TO THE POLICE STATION JUST FOR THE PURPOSE OF QUESTIONING.
