about waste:
A factor contributing Australia's waste problem is the way in which we think about rubbish and our recognized patterns of construction and consumption, which are currently on shaky ground. A dominant attitude has come into view that waste does not really affect us, as long as it can be hidden in a landfill or washed down the drain. Adopting a more well-thought attitude towards the waste we produce and what is done with it is essential. Not only will a change in waste disposal processes improve our environment in the way it looks, it will also help to bring back biodiversity and improve the quality of our land, air and water.
