What are the hihest marks that one could get in english language essay?

Here's the answer!

If the total marks for an essay is 10,you'd probably get 8 as the highest. I remember that I'd once got that. When I asked my ma'am,where was my error in the essay,she told me that it's essential to decrease the 2 marks for the essay and the letter writing. I dunno what's the logic behind that. xDD

Hello mate..

In accordance to icse pattern composition or say essay which is the 1st question in the language paper is of total 20 marks .

Till now the highest marks I have seen is 19 (it's very very rare 0_o)

For giving marks there many places which is taken into account like content ...maintainence of those 5 paragraphs , grammatical error etc.

So it's the most difficult part of the paper where no one can garantee the marks u get..Its depends on the examinor wheather they liked ur essay or not.
