rainwater is slightly acidic because there are many types of gases present in the environment which on reacting with waterforme acid generally the acid are. formedcorrosive acid because there are many gases present like sulphur carbon and many more they form they react with water to form sulphuric acid carbonic acid hydrochloric acid and many more other acids which are harmful for the environment but they are in very less amount so that it is slightly acidic but when they are in more amount it will have much more effects on the earth just like a once the acid rain is caused the Taj Mahal
