identity means if we multiply , divide , add or subtract we need to get the same number for which we are multipling or dividing ir adding or subtracting
here additive identity is 0 becoz if we add 0 to the number the result will be same
ex:- 2 + 0 = 2
so identity is 0
and multiplicative identity is 1 becoz if we multiply 1 with any number we get same number so identity is 1
ex:- 3 × 1 = 3
so identity is 3
i hope it helps uh
