In today's Car you have electronic system everywhere from Comfort to Safety, from roof to wheels, from engine to chassiss.

Electronic chips which control various parts of car are called ECU (Elctronic control unit).

In high end cars there may be 100s of these ECU for controlling Engine Management System (fuel injection), Active Safety (ABS), passive safety (Air Bag), infotainment (music system) etc.
