•) Per Capita Income- It is average income of each and every citizen and can be calculated by divinding national income by total population. Income is considered to be the most important indicator of development. This is based on the understanding that more income means more of all the things that human beings need. Whatever people like and should have, they will be able to get it with higher income.
•) Life expectancy at birth- This denotes the average expected length of the like of the person at the time of the birth. Life expectancy has a positive and direct relationship with health status of the country.
•) Literacy Rate- This measures the proportion of literate population of 7 and above age group. Higher the literacy rate of the country improves its Human Development Index.
