what are the ions present in MgCo3 , ZnC12. give their valencies

Answer:

In MgCo3 we get 1 magnesium ion and 1 carbonate ion . In ZnCl2 we get 1 zinc ion and 2 chlorine ion .

The valency of mg is 2 , Co3 is -2 and Zn is 2 and Cl is 1
