Answer:

Pretty much the same as all other Abrahamic religions, Adam and eve, Noah's ark, Jesus dying on the cross, But there are some key differences. The majority of Muslim's live in the middleEast so we won't be discussing contemporary Islam in the U.S. but instead that of the Arabian peninsula.

Just like Christian faith there are several sects of Islam but most well known are Sunni and Shia. you can think of sunni as being Christianity and Shia as being Catholicism in reference to western religions the main difference is being who was the true founder of Islam. Sunni is much more popular than Shia. Both believe in the story of jesus but only as a Prophet who served his purpose to spread the word of god. Its christians that believe Jesus is the son god. In Islam god has no children because god is god. If that was the case then that would me god had a wife too. This is pretty much the only reason why Muslim's dont agree with Christianity.

In Islam you also have something called Sharia law which is basically there form of the constitution but made up entirely by old rules of faith. It determines the persecution of all Muslim's. And of course one of the most well known of these laws is that of women who are given little to no human rights under there beliefs. Women must cover there face and body at all times, when a Muslim family goes to a mosque for prayer the men enter one room(usually much bigger and nice) while the women enter another. Sexism is a big problem with Islam but many negate the issue by pointing at terrorism which has been highlighted ever since 9/11. That about sums it up for Islam.
