What are the laws of motion ? Explain them breifly .
Motion simply means movement of any object . It is recognised by the things around the object . If the object is in motion , then the things around the object seems to get closer or faraway from that object . Now , Sir Issac Newton has derived three laws of motion . These are :
The first law of motion states that ,
An object at rest tends to remain at rest and an object moving in uniform motion in a rectilinear way , tends to be in uniform motion , ( in a straight line ) until and unless an external force is applied .
This law is also called , The law of Inertia . It simply means that , an object will simply go on moving in a straight line , if no external force acts on it . ( or else , it will be at its stationary position . )
The second law of motion states that ,
The rate of change of momentum of a body is proportional to the applied force , and it acts in the direction of the force .
It gave us the relationship between Force and Momentum , i.e - F = ma.
Force = Mass × Acceleration
The third law of motion states that ,
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction , acting on two different bodies .
This law supports the fact of we , the humans being able to walk . The aeroplanes also run with the same principal .

Sir Isaac Newton , one of the greatest scientists of all time , laid the foundation of new mechanics, almost single handedly.
He gave three laws of motion...
This law states that, Everybody continues in the state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line , unless an external force acts on it.
This law is also called as
According to this law, The rate of change of momentum of a body with respect to time is directly proportional to the external force applied on the body and the direction of change in linear momentum is in the direction of force applied.
F = K
where,
F = Force applied
K = constant
dp = infinitesimal change in momentum
dt = infinitesimal change in time
F = K
F = m... [p = m×v]
F = ma………………[= a]
Force = mass × acceleration
This law states that , to every reaction there is always an equal and opposite reaction.
F = -F
Action = Reaction
