1) Wind energy can not be generated every time because wind does not always blow with enough speed to rotate the blades of wind mill i.e Wind energy is an intermittent source of energy.

2) The construction cost is very high.

3) It requires a very large vacant area to construct wind mills, so the common people living there have to vacate such places.
