Some of the Limitations of Consumer Rights: 1. The Act doesn't specify, how people are to fight against the consumer frauds in daily small transactions where bills aren't issued, which makes it difficult for the consumer to provide proof. 2. It doesn't mention on what basis the court or the consumer or supplier may quantify the loss occured, which includes direct loss, transportation charges, advocacy charges, goodwill, etc... 3. It doesn't cover nor does it specify in particular how the supplier is to deem legal remedies, if the consumer is a fraud.

The limitations of consumer movement are as follows;
1) The method is becoming valuable day by day and time absorbing. Consumers have to employ agents and frequent all the attention.
2) The existing authorities also are not very apparent on the subject of payment to consumers crippled by faulty products.
3) Many individuals are still not intentional of the consumer rights and the whole system to solicit redressal.
