limitations of mendeleev periodic table
the position of hydrogen was not correctly defined.it was placed in group 1 although it resembles both the group 1 elements -the alkali metals and the group 7 elements -the halogens , in their properties
in some cases mendelewv placed elements according to their similar properties and not in increasing order of their atomic masses thus, the positions of these elements was not justified ...eg cobalt atomic mass is 58.9 was placed before nickel which has atomic mass 58.6....hope it helps .....mark it as brainliest
