Hey Mate The following are the main causes of pollution in the river : -
1. People carelessly through plastic wastes in the river water. The chemicals in the plastic bags are very harmful for us, as well as aquatic animals. If any aquatic animals unknowingly consumes it as a food, it my choke their respiratory system as well as their digestive system. Leading them to death.
2. Washing animals in the river. Peasants was their cows or buffaloes in the river as river is a huge source of clean water. The mud stick on their bodies will mix with water causing us for the bad health.
3. Factory workers dump the waste chemicals which are used in their factory in the river, which is very dangerous. The same water comes into our house, the same we drink. This will also leads to death.
4. Peoples washing clothes in the water. In countries like India, many poor men and women used to wash their clothes in the water. The harmful detergents will mix with the water leading us to death.
5. People bathing in the river. Many poor people who are having lack of water supply in there house used to bath in the river. The soap's chemical will mix with river water causing aquatic animals to death.
6. People used to Defecate besides the river. The dirt will mix in the river water which is not good.
One can prevent the RIVER POLLUTION by
1) spreading awareness among peoples i.e. causes and harmful effects of river pollution.
2) making strict rules for river conservation
