Many important geographical factors involved in the location of individual industries are of relative significance, e.g., availability of raw materials, power resources, water, labour, markets and the transport facilities.

Raw materials : Areas which are rich in raw materials needed for the Industry .

Availability of water: Water act as coolant in machine and are used as waste disposal .

Market : The items which are perishable need a Market nearby so that items are consumed .

Regular supply of electricity : Machines need electricity to run .
