The main functional regions of a cell are ;

  1. Cytoplasm
  2. Nucleus
  3. Mitochondria
  4. Ribosomes

Cytoplasm is considered to be important because it is the place for all metabolic activities. Every process which takes in a cell will be taking place in cytoplasm only..

Nucleus is considered to be important because it is the cell control unit it has the genetic material present in it which is very essential for the cell during the cell division.

Mitochondria is considered to be important because it is the main cell organelle which produces the ATP molecules ( Adenosine Tri Phosphate) and releases energy. And main component which is responsible for cellular respiration..

Ribosomes are considered to be the smallest cell organelle but too have the most important function that is producing or manufacturing proteins. It acts like a factory which produces proteins . As we know proteins are the body building component. so cells needs proteins too. This proteins are prepared from amino acids ..
