1. Control of the genetical information of the cell and thus the heredity characteristics of an organisms.

2. Control of the protein and enzymes synthesis.

3. Control of cell division and cell growth.

4. Storage of DNA, RNA and ribosomes.

5. Regulation of the transcription of the mRNA to protein.

6. Production of ribosomes.

The nucleus is an organelle found in eukaryotic cell. Nucleus is known is brain of the cell. It control activities of cell.

Functions of Nucleus in a cell:-

• Control center of the cell

• Produce RNA and Protein

• Stores hereditary information (DNA)

• Produce Ribosomes (nucleolus)

• Regulation of substances, allow the exchange of materials.
