the hind brains consist of the medulla, pons and cerebellum.

medulla -The medulla helps regulate breathing, heart and blood vessel function, digestion, sneezing, and swallowing. This part of the brain is a center for respiration and circulation. Sensory and motor neurons (nerve cells) from the forebrain and midbrain travel through the medulla.

pons -

The Pons serves a specific function in the brain, it sorts and relays messages between different sections of the brain. Specifically, the Pons relays messages between the cortex in the brain and the cerebellum.

cerebellum -

Coordinating movement: Most body movements require the coordination of multiple muscle groups. The cerebellum times muscle actions so that the body can move smoothly.

Maintaining balance: The cerebellum has special sensors that detect shifts in balance and movement. It then sends signals for the body to adjust and move.

Vision: The cerebellum is responsible for coordinating eye movements.

Motor learning: The cerebellum helps the body learn movements that require practice and fine-tuning. For example, the cerebellum plays a role in learning the movements needed to ride a bicycle.

Other functions: Researchers believe the cerebellum has some role in thinking, including thoughts related to language and mood. These functions are not yet well understood.

the hinde brain consists of 3 parts called the ponds cerebellum medulla.
Ponds help in the respiration the cerebellum helps in maintaining posture and balance of the body and medula controls the various involuntary actions such as Heartbeat, breathing blood pressure and peristaltic movement of Elementary Canal it also controls the centre of reflex such as coughing vomiting
