What are the major advantages of buding and grafting when compared to other vegetative propagation methods?

The advantages of grafting are as follows:

1) This process is disease resistant.

2)It takes very less time to bear fruits and flowers as compared to other method.

The advantages of budding is are:

1) The plants which can't be reproduced by any vegetables propagation method, can be reproduced through budding.

2) By this method the reproduced plants become tolerant to saline and alkaline medium.
