First level of classification among plants depends on whether the PLANT body posses well diferentiated distinct components or not.
Another level is based on the presence or absence of special vascular tissues for the transport of water and other substances.
classification takes into ACCOUNT the ability to bear seeds and whether seeds are enclosed within fruits or not .
《Depending on these characteristics PLANTAE IS DIVIDED AS
1) THALLOPHYTA
2)BRYOPHYTA
3)PTERIDOPHYTA
4)GYMNOSPERM
5) ANGIOSPERM
PLANTAE ARE AS FOLOWS IN SOME SHORT POINTS........
GROWTH is unlimited and continues till death.
They are ÂŁWÄÝŚ fixed at one site and cannot move like animals.
THEIR mode of nutrition is AUTOTROPHIC they produce THEIR own food by a process called PHOTOSYNTHESIS in the presence of light with the help of chlorophyll.
THESE are multicellular eukaryotes with cell walls made up of cellulose.
