The population explosion has a severe effect and can lead to environmental change. It can cause a scarcity of food, habitats, jobs etc.
As a result people are pushed to shift in hilly and tropical forest areas.
The ecological balance of those places can be hampered by the development of roads and destruction of forests.
It also increases the pollution.
