Electron microscope, fern, and needle are required to view the spores in detail in fern leaves.

Explanation:

  • Some species of fern have good medicinal values and some are edible and used as fish for foods, whereas many ferns are used for ornamental purposes.
  • They lack seed or flowers but have roots, stem and leaves like other plants. They carry their reproduction with the aid of spores. The study of ferns is generally referred to as pteridology.
