Following are the methods to conserve soil erosion:- i) Construction of small bunds (boundaries) in water eroded areas. ii) Construction of terraces, plugging of gullies in hilly areas.       iii) Preparation of shelter belts for plants .                                iv) Control on overgrazing . v) More afforestation . vi) Mulching ( It is a sheet cover/loose covering on surface of cultivable land/soil). vii) Build check dams viii) Contour ploughing and strip cropping .
