Almost all polyacrylonitrile resins are copolymers made from mixtures of monomers withacrylonitrile as the main component. It is a versatile polymer used to produce large variety of products including ultra filtration membranes, hollow fibers for reverse osmosis, fibers for textiles, oxidized PAN fibers.
