Aurangzeb created a miniature marble mosque identified as the Moti Masjid or Pearl Mosque in the complex of Red Fort in Delhi. He also commanded the creation of the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore. He also erected a mosque in Benares. Another mosque which he created in Srinagar is nevertheless the biggest in Kashmir.
