Answer...
☆☆ NEPHRONS ☆☆
▪ Nephrons are the structural and functional unit of kidney.
▪ Each Nephrons has two parts : GLOMERULUS & RENAL TABULE.
¤ Glomerulus : A tuft of capillaries formed by afferent ateriole (a fine branch of renal artery). Blood from the Glomerulus is carried away by an Efferent Arteriole.
¤ Renal Tubule : It begins with a double walled cup-like Bowman's Capsule, which encloses the Glomerulus.
▪ Types of Nephrons :-
¤ CORTICAL NEPHRONS [85%] ----- In this, the Henle's loop short and extends only very time little into the meduila. Vasa recta is absent or highly reduced.
¤ JUXTAMEDULLARY NEPHRONS [ 15%] ------ In this, Henle's loop is long and runs deep into medulla. Vasa Recta Present.

- NEPHRON :- It is the structural and functional unit of kidney..
- Types of NEPHRON
@1) Cortical Nephron ( 85-90 %)
- It's loop of henle's is maximum present in the cortex
- It is known to work in EVERYDAY FUNCTION ( means regular filtration process).
- The Vasa Recta is ABSENT
- IT maintains a concentration of 300 OSM
@2) Juxtamedullary Nephron ( 10-15%)
- the maximum part of its loop of henle lies deeply in the Medulla
- Vasa Recta is PRESENT
- It is known to work in special conditions when there is water deficiency in our body or any internal defect in mechanism of our body..
## Parts of NEPHRON
1) Glomerulas:- It is a bunch of Capillaries which brings blood to Nephron
2) Bowman's Capsule:- it is a double walled cup shaped structure which contains the GLOMERULUS..
- It creates and membrane for ULTRA FILTRATION
3) Loop of Henle
- It is a main site for reabsorption and secretion of electrolytes and water in Medullary Interstitium..
4) PCT (IT HAS MICROVILLI)
- IT IS A MAIN SITE FOR REABSORPTION OF NA+, WATER, BICARBONATE..
5) DCT
- IT SECRETS H + AND AMMONIUM ION IN THE GLOMERULAR FILTRATE
Hope it helps you...
