A point in the magnetic field of a bar magnet at which the resultant field intensity is zero is called neutral point. The magnetic field lines when the magnet is placed with its N-pole pointing to north direction are shown in figure.

If the bar magnet is of 10 cm in length, the neutral points will create at the distance of 15 cm from each of the pole.

There are only two neutral points can be possible. Because there are only two tangents (perpendicular which can be drawn at a side) at magnetic field.
