What are the Nutritive and Non-nutritive components of diet ? Explain.

There are large number of nutrients required in our balanced diet. Some of them are “Nutritive components” like Carbohydrates, Fats, and Proteins. Whereas some the other components of diet are also required which are “Non-Nutritive Components” such as Vitamins, Minerals , Water and Roughage (Fibers)
