Social condition of France during 18th century was very miserable. Society was divided into three categories. According to the financial positions of the public. Rich people did not have to pay any tax. Low class people were exploited by rich.
Economic condition of France get worsen. The royal treasury of France got miserable. Many different finance ministers were appointed by king but they all were removed for some or the other reasons frequently.
Many philosophers came there at that time and situation. Like Voltaire etc. Who was one of the most famous French philosopher and writers of all time. He believes that man's destiny is in real world not in heaven.
