The different parts of the flower and there function i have written below give a glance at that,

Petals: Brightly colored, attract insects

Stamen: Male part of the flower, it’s called masculine flowers . it’s composed of anthers and filaments

Anther: Produces male gametes - pollen

Filament: Supports anthers to make it accessible to insects

Ovary: It contains ovules, and after fertilization, the ovary swells to produce fruit.

Ovum: In plants with seeds, the female reproductive part that produces gamete - egg.

Pistil: Female parts of the flower, which consist of stigma and style

Stigma: Sticky portion at the top of the style where pollen grains usually fall

Style: The narrow and elongated part of the pistil between the ovary and the stigma grows the pollen tube

Pollen: Male gamete: contains half of the genetic information for the production of a new plant.

Sepal: It is the floral bud external cover.

Mitosis: This is the cell division that produces gametes: occurs in the ovary and anther
