■ Phanerogams - They are the highly evolved plants that bear seeds, well differentiated body and some may also bear beautiful flowers.

They are broadly classified into Gymnosperm and Angiosperm.

● Gymnosperm =

1. They are primitive sead bearing plants with no flower.

2. Their seeds are not closed in fruit case.

3. Their ovules aren't present in ovaries.

4. Xylem lacks vessels and phloem lacks companion cells.

5. They are futher divided into :

Conifers = Pines
Cycads = Cycas

● Angiosperm =

1. They are primitive sead bearing plants with flowers.

2. Their seeds remained closed in fruit case.

3. Their ovules aren present in ovaries.

4. Xylem do have vessels and phloem do have companion cells.

5. They are divided into :

Monocotyledons = Wheat ( Triticum aestivum ) and maize ( Zea mays )

Dicotyledons = Apple ( Malus Silverstris ) and China rose ( Hibiscus rosa sinensis )
