Velocity have maximum value at mean position

We need to find the physical quantities having maximum value at the mean position in simple harmonic motion .

We know , displacement is given as :

x=A\ (sin \ \omega t)      { We assume that motion starts from from mean at t = 0 s }

Velocity ,  v = A\omega \ ( cos \ \omega t)

Here , velocity is maximum at t = 0 i.e the mean position .

Also , acceleration , a =- A\omega^2 ( sin\ \omega t)

Here , acceleration is zero at t = 0 s .

Therefore , velocity have maximum value at mean position .
