Problems faced by Road transportation in India:
1. Road network is inadequate regarding the volume of traffic and passengers.
2. Most of the roads are unmetalled due to which they go out of use in rainy seasons.
3. Roadways are congested in cities and towns(in main markets)
4. National highways are inadequate too.
5. Distribution of roads is not uniform in India which leads to fluctuation in road density.
