The major problem faced by using coal and petroleum as sorces of energy are that they released poisonous gases such as carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide etc,...which causes green house effect and they are non renewable resources and takes millions of years to regenerate.
The steps which can be taken to reduce the consumption of coal and petroleum products are: (i) Switch of the lights, fans, television and other electrical appliances to save electricity. (ii) Use energy efficient electrical appliances to save electricity. This can be done by using CFL and Fluorescent tube lights.
By using coal and petrol we are increasing global warming and pollution . we can solve this by using sunlight , LPG , CNG etc instead of them .
