The following are the problems caused by indiscriminate use of resources:

1. Exhaustion of resources for serving the desire of a few greedy people.

2. Collection of resources in the hand of few people; which causes social discrimination between the rich and poor. This divides a community into two categories, for instance, have and have-nots.

3. Aimless and unlimited use of resources without attention for the future have commenced to critical ecological predicaments such as global warming, the depletion of the ozone layer, environmental pollution and soil degradation.
