Irresponsible disposal by citizens - dumping in any nook and cranny and then complaining that municipality isn't cleaning up after them!Improper segregation - once mixed it can't be fixed - soiled newspaper, paper, certain types of plastics can't be recycled if damaged, wet or mixed with food/poop.Landfills are fast filling - All metros in India are running out of space to rid their garbage.Too much single use plastics - they can't be recycled have no resale value, not effectively recovered.Corruption, lack of public awareness progarms by local authorities, improper infrastructure, lack of capacity building.This is where the top cities are scoring in waste managementSegrgeate, Segregate, segregate! Dry, wet and sanitary.In-situ, Ward, community composting services - let 60% of waste be managed at source.

As the India is becoming more modern and more industrial day the by day,the capital metropolitan cities are devoloping accordingly.

Due to the heavy disposal of the solid waste materials from this metropolitan's industrial sites and domestic garbage count, several problems were created;

1)pollution due to the heavy amount of the waste materials.

2)non decomposition of non-biodegrable plastic wastes,which is making the wastelands completely full.

And there is still no solution to reduce and reuse of this waste materials, but the dumped waste is increasing day by day.
