The rich people sometimes pretend to be the poorer strata of the Society through which they get more ration.

Sometimes, the government stores more foodgrains in the budget stock than the required for longer time which would lead to rottening of food crops and decrease in supplies.

the problems(faced) while running pds in india:--
(i) The quality of the rationed items given to the poor is very poor .
(ii)The ration shop dealers resort to malpractices. They illegally divert the grains to the open market for better gains.(ii) Some of the ration shop dealers sell only poor quality of grains.
