Cathode rays are negatively charged rays
They are massive in nature so they are made up of the constituent particles (negatively charged)
They travel in the straight line
They have ionisation effect
They can produce x-ray when they are allowed to strike on the hard metallic surface
They also show the heating effect

hope it helps
