Properties of particles of matter are as follows :
1. Particles of matter are very small. For example one crystal of potassium permanganate can colour a large volume of water.
2. Particles of matter have spaces between them. For example if we put 100ml of water in a beaker and dissolve 2 to 3 spoons of sugar in it then we will notice that there is no change in the volume of water.
3. Particles of matter are constantly moving. For example if we light an incense stick in the corner of a large room, it's fumes will reach us in the opposite corner.
4. The particles of matter attract each other.
