What are the reasons for bond formation?
Answers
Answer:
Bond are of two types :-
●Ionic bond
●covalent bond
All the atoms of different elements have the ability to make a bond with one another. He main reason behind this is all the atoms are not stable so they wants to aquire the electronic configuration of their nearest noble gas electronic configuration.
So all the atoms forms bond to stabalise them selves. ✔
Hence whenever a bond is formed the energy is realeased and it's lower the energy of a atoms and they become stable.
● In ionic bonding a metal atoms alwas makes abonding with a nonmetalic atoms because metalic atoms always donate electrons and nonmetalic atoms allows a electron.
● In covakent bonding a nonmetalic atoms makes a bond with another nonmetalic atoms as they shares their electrons with others. ✔
The bond may result from the electrostatic force of attraction between oppositely charged ions as in ionic bonds or through the sharing of electrons as in covalent bonds. A chemical bond is a lasting attraction between atoms, ions or molecules that enables the formation of chemical compounds.
