what are the reasons for lowering of water table in large cities

1) because of the increasing in pollution the water table gets disturbed.

2) because of less number of trees in big cities can't bring rain which leads to lowering of water table in big cities.

3)due to increase in population which leads to global warming and it effect the water table also.
