India is a multi-cultural country which has several central and regional parties. There is a need for such regional parties for several reasons.
The main one is so that the government is decentralised i.e., the central government might be biased towards several states and it is the responsibility of the state or regional parties to ensure that their citizens receive the necessary requirements from the centre.
Also, the regional parties are often able to capture the exact sentiment of the local people and will be able to solve their individual issues.
