One of the main reasons of class struggle between labour and capitalists is the rise of the capitalist system that involved exploitation and injustice to the labourers.

Some of the reasons have been given below:

1. The decline in the labour's in income.

2. The arrogant and predatory attitudes of the bourgeoisie.

3. The working conditions deteriorated.

4. The rise in unemployment.

5. Growing disparity or difference of life conditions between the two classes.

6. The distribution of political power as judged by power rather than production.

There were mainly two classes of people- the rich or bourgeoisie and the workers or proletariat. The bourgeoisie controlled production whereas the proletariat provided the labour.
