Digital marketing is the most happening thing now a days.

Online shopping has also increased its market share in a great way.

But I think there is still the elderly generation who want to feel  the product1st and who would trust reference from a friend more than an ad in Google. For them going to the shop to purchase the product would still make sense.

Another factor is the role of the social media (twitter, facebook. Whats app)in determining the consumers preference.

Now a marketing manager is also supposed to be a social media expert.
