Buddhism has a very rich religious culture. Listed below are few of the celebrations.

i. Vesak: Buddha's birthday is the Vesak Day. It is celebrated on the first full moon day occuring in May or the Lunar Leap Year in June.

ii. Parinirvana Day: This is the Mahayana Buddhist Holiday celebrated on February 15th.

iii. Asalha Puja Day: This day celebrates Buddha's first teaching on the full moon day in 8th lunar month (most probably in July).

iv. Kathina Ceremony: This is a robe offering ceremony. It can be held any day  within the end of the Vassa Retreat.

v. Bodhi Day: On this day, Buddha got his first enlightenment.
