the role of citizen in democracy is as follows
1 the citizens must be aware of their rights .2
every citizens above 18 must give vote to correct leader of their choice .every citizen must co-operate with their government .

The roles of citizens in a democracy are as  follows :



(i) Citizens exercise their rights and freedoms and get benefited from democratic set-up.



(ii) They must be aware of their rights and duties.



(iii) They should be aware of the issues and problems  the country is facing.



(iv) They must cooperate in maintaining law and order.



(v) People must consider other‘s needs and interest  also.
