The safety measures taken for railway accident are:-
1. Special drives should be conducted to counsel, educate and improve awareness among general public regarding prevention of accidents at unmanned level crossing.
2. A no. of safety seminars should be conducted on various sensitive subjects to improve awareness among railway staff as accident prevention measure.
3. Advertisements should be regularly published in newspapers to educate and improve awareness among public on Rail Safety Issues.
4. Advertisements should also display in electronic media as well as in film theatres on Railway Safety Issues.
5. Do not light a cigarette. Smoking should be prohibited in trains and stations because smoking can also cause fire accidents in trains.
6. To prevent fire accidents in trains we should not carry Combustible articles like petrol, kerosene, oil, diesel,films, fire works, gas cylinders, etc.
