Well there are different shortcoming/drawback of globe
1) A globe is usually large so it is difficult to carry it .it is quite bulky and big one
2) As compared to the map ,a globe is quite expensive and cost alot.
3) it also don't give much detailed information like the detailed feature of a area can not be seen through it.
4) You can only see one half of the globe at a time.
