Answer:
Similarities:
The Socialist nationalism and the religious nationalism, both aims at putting an end to the western influence/dominance in the Arabian region. They also aim at eliminating the Arab governments dependent on western power.
Both ideologies share the interest of having a unified and untainted relation between the Arab countries.
Differences:
Whilst the socialist nationalism aims primarily at keeping intact the ethnicity, beliefs, practices of the Arabs, the religious nationalism stresses on the religious front of the Arabs, which is Islam.
The main conflicting point in both ideologies is their approach towards the religious majority in the region. The religious nationalism believes that the major religion, Islam, should be administered and officialized whereas the socialist nationalism shows a more open mind about the minor religion present in the region as well.
